X’ydee Alexander
X’ydee Alexander is an actor and dancer working between Detroit and her hometown LA. She has taken acting classes and workshops with the Detroit Rep where she got her start playing Piper in last season’s Annabella In July. You may have seen her recently as Opal in Fat Ham at Detroit Public Theatre. She is excited to be making her return to the Detroit Rep stage! She would like to give a huge shout out to her Acting/Audition coach Cassandra Svacha for helping her book this job, Leah Smith for believing in me, and most importantly, her parents for constantly pushing her to be a better person and actor.
X’ydee can be seen this season playing the roles of Dussie Mae in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Mia in Hysterical!, and Ruthie in Covenant.
