Byron Keys
Byron Keys (Sid) is thrilled to be making his professional stage debut in Alamo Shoes. He is a graduate of Shimer College, where he discovered a love for the stage. He appeared in Hedda Gabler as Jurgen Tesman, Antigone as Messenger, Landscape as Duff and at least a half dozen smaller roles. Byron discovered the Detroit Rep’s Actors Workshop in 2021 and has enrolled 4 times. He has since appeared in the Extra Mile Playwrights Theatre Detroit 2020 Project staged readings, Detroit Playwright’s Lab Showcase on the Detroit Rep stage, Voiceover for Nollywood Dreams at Open Book Theatre, and this past September, in Rosedale Community Players Ten Minute Play Festival. He would like to thank his loving wife Bridgett, who has accepted his entanglement with the sometimes sweet, sometimes cruel mistress Theatre.
